Permit B

Authorized to conduct the following vehicles:

• Cars with a maximum authorised mass not exceeding 3,500 kg, that are designed and constructed for the carriage of not more than 8 passengers in addition to the driver. Authorizes the driving of the national territory with a seniority of the permit up to two years, in cars without a trailer driven by alternative fuels intended for the carriage of goods and having a maximum authorised mass exceeding 3,500 kg but not exceeding 4.250 kg, provided that the mass exceeds 3,500 kg coming exclusively to the excess of mass of the propulsion system with respect to the propulsion system of a vehicle of the same dimensions, that is equipped with a conventional motor of an internal combustion engine with spark-ignition or compression, and provided that this does not increase the load capacity with respect to the same vehicle.
• Sets of docked vehicles composed of a tractor vehicle in which authorizes to conduct the permission of the class B and a trailer with a maximum authorised mass of which exceeds 750 kg, provided that the maximum authorised mass of the set does not exceed 4.250 kg, without prejudice to the provisions of the standards of type approval issued for these vehicles.
• Tricycles and quadricycles.

The minimum age to obtain it is to be 18 years of age. However, up to 21 years of age are not allowed to drive motor tricycles whose maximum power exceeding 15 kW.
